Welcome to SOL Smart Home Help & Support page!

Before you proceed, please note that an iOS or Android capable smartphone or tablet is essential to unlock the powerful features and functions inside SOL_ONE. If you haven’t done so already, we strongly recommend to download them through these links.

SOL_ONE is a very friendly smart home device, but from time to time, it needs a bit of care and maintenance. If you run into any problems, or are just generally curious about its full functionality, feel free to send us a quick message. But before you do that, please make sure to learn about the most common questions here:

Q:

The mood light suddenly started flashing a red color!

A:

This is a maintenance notification, indicating that you need to fill up the water bowl or wash the pink air filter. To get SOL_ONE back into its normal state:

  1. Open your SOL Remote App on your mobile device
  2. Tap the air management button on the lower menu bar
  3. Tap ‘reset’ on the ‘SILVER TEXTILE’ and/or ‘WATER BOWL’ counters
  4. Restart your device with the ON/OFF button at the top-left corner of the app.

Q:

My smartphone/tablet cannot connect to the device!

A:

Please check if the smartphone’s Bluetooth can see the SOL device. Bluetooth connections are automatically established on modern devices if the Bluetooth is turned on, but in some cases, you may have to pair the devices. For more information, please contact your mobile device vendor on how to achieve that.

Please also make sure that the two Bluetooth-enabled devices are within line of sight of one another and within a close range to each other.

Q:

The fan is not working; there is no air flow!

A:

Please check if the device is plugged into a wall socket. Next, open your SOL Remote App on your mobile device and restart SOL_ONE with the ON/OFF button on the top left corner of the app.

If the fan is not working after these steps, please unplug the device and contact us as soon as possible.

Q:

The air-scenting module does not work!

A:

First, please check if the scenting module is switched on in your SOL Remote app under the air management menu. If the option is greyed out and cannot be interacted with, please make sure that the scenting module is physically connected to the SOL_ONE device the right way.

Second, please check if the scent-mixture level is filled by physically turning off the top part of the scenting module. If it is empty, it’s time to refill!

Q:

There is no mood light!

A:

There are two main situations where the mood lights might stop working. To solve them:

  1. Open your SOL Remote App on your mobile device
  2. Navigate to the ‘Lights’ menu and make sure the switch is ON and the panel is not greyed out.
  3. In the ‘Scheduler’ menu, check the local time and tap ‘SET’.
  4. Check the scheduler wheel to find out whether the device is currently in day mode or night mode. If it is in night mode, make sure the ‘bottom lights’ button is active (inactive by default).
  5. Restart your device with the ON/OFF button on the top-left corner of the app.

Q:

The fan slider is not working in the app!

A:

The fan slider is unavailable while auto mode is turned. In order to manually change fan speed, you will have to turn off auto mode first.
